The Radio, like the post, is one of the greatest democratic inventions that warrants acute recognition even still today. 

Despite the changing format and distribution of music at a public level, the relationship music has with its transference vehicle really doesn't matter.

The radio model (the transmission of electromagnetic waves) is the approximation of human relationship to music. The radio's very technique and form tell us everything we need to know about music's mysterious place in our hearts: that we are designed to transmit.

In our law abiding natural world, it is a freedom to tune in.
